40+ YEARS OF MINISTRY

Our History

SonRays Ministries was originally formed in 1982 as an intercessional prayer outreach under the guidance of the local 700 Club. In 1983, we became independent when the Buffalo office of The 700 Club closed. From there the Lord was leading SonRays to focus on ministering in the area of unplanned pregnancies.

“Therefore, my beloved brethren, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that your labor is not in vain in the Lord.”

A Ministry for Life

SonRays Ministries became “A Ministry for Life.” Over the past 35 years SonRays has gone through many seasons, all which have continued to be directed by the Lord. “The Faith Home” is the site for Christian childbirth classes, mentoring of birthmothers and sometimes birthfathers. We also serve to encourage single mothers and their children, hold Bible studies, a Summer Backyard Club, and so much more! Each year an event takes place to highlight what God has done and what He is doing in the ministry all year long. We continue to rest in our covenant with God, and share His grace and peace with all He sends to us!

Our Mission

The SON of God sets people free and we, in Him, are to be the RAYS of that truth – in word and deed!

SonRays Ministries, Inc., exists to protect the unborn and provide affirmation, help, and mentorship to women, men, and families in need so that they may learn to live out the truths of God’s word and experience transformation in their lives through their own personal relationships with Jesus Christ.

Our Team

We believe that the Holy Bible is the inspired Word of God. We honor the deity of the Lord Jesus Christ and God existing threefold through the Father, Son, and the Holy Spirit. We believe in the incarnation of Jesus Christ, His virgin birth, His sacrificial death on the cross, and His resurrection. We believe that a life changing relationship with Jesus Christ through teaching and studying of the Gospel leads to the salvation of the lost and sinful. We believe in the sanctity of all human life and that the destruction of any life, unborn and living, in against the will of God.
