How You Can Help

The best way to get involved with SonRays Ministry, Inc. is to attend one of our board meetings, either the Women’s Advisory Board or the Men of the Call. This allows us to get to know each other and discover where your gifts and talents will best glorify God and strengthen the ministry. Women of Prayer

The Women of Prayer consist of women from area churches who meet once a month to pray and learn of the needs of SonRays Ministries, Inc. Women of Prayer members then inform their church of upcoming events and opportunities to serve.

Men Who Are Called

“Finally, brothers, pray for us, that the Word of the Lord may speed ahead and be honored, as happened among you”

Men Who Are Called exists to provide SonRays Ministries, Inc. with physical and spiritual resources. They enhance and further the mission with prayer, mentoring and task-oriented service to meet the needs of the ministry. They minister in this way that the Word of the Lord may have free course and be glorified to fulfill the Great Commission.

Those that are called to pray, meet, and serve in SonRays Ministries commit to attending four meetings each year and are prayerfully open to the Lord’s leading them in the areas they can serve.

Hooked on Helping

Join other women who are passionate about SonRays Ministries, Inc. This group meets every other Thursday to combine prayer and fellowship with crocheting and knitting gifts for our single moms and their children. If you would like to bless single parent families with your talents, please reach out to us.

Sew to Sow

“He who goes out weeping, bearing the seed for sowing, shall come home with shouts of joy, bringing his sheaves with him.”

PSALM 126:6

A group of ladies meet each week to sew items that sow the Gospel into those who need to hear it. They all love the Lord and love working for Him. On sewing day, there is fun, sympathizing, and sharing, with each woman fulfilling her part in God’s plan. Sew to Sow has become a vital partner with SonRays Ministries, Inc. Look for their beautiful handiwork at the Fall Festival and Annual Craft Fair and Lunch each year.

Hospital Gift Baskets

One way SonRays Ministries, Inc. encourages birth mothers is to provide them with a hospital gift basket after birth. Each basket contains 14 small items, and each item has a Scripture on it. The birth mother is encouraged to open one gift each day, and meditate on the Scripture. The items in the baskets are often donated by groups and individuals.
